Our hammam follows the classical plan: the heated navel stone at the centre, basins along the walls, a domed ceiling bringing in light. Tiled panels and hand-painted decoration give the room its character.
You sit in the heat until you sweat, then pour water over yourself from the basin with a bowl. An attendant is on hand if you want the scrub and foam; if not, warming up and resting is enough. Entry to the hammam is free; the scrub and foam treatment is charged.
